Jinro & MC to Stockholm
DreamHack Sapphire AMD Championship Stockholm Invitational 2011 will be one of the absolute highlights in esports this spring. Today we are very excited and proud to present the first two fantastic players who will compete for the the grand prize of 100 000 SEK and the first DreamHack Sapphire AMD Championship title on LAN this year.
DreamHack, Sapphire AMD, SteelSeries and EIZO are proud to invite the double and reigning champion of GSL, Jang “MC” Min Chul from Team oGs. MC is definitely one of the world’s strongest Protoss players and with his recent shape and innovating playing style he is one of the favorites to go to the final at Stockholm Invitational. His attitude and confidence will definitely be shown in Stockholm and MC will be the one to beat for all the participating players.
The second player is one of the very best foreigners and has in very short time won the hearts of many StarCraft-fans worldwide. With great performance in GSL season 3 in January the “Gorilla Terran” is a force to be reckoned with. We welcome the Swedish player Jonathan “Jinro” Walsh from Team Liquid to Stockholm Invitational and also home to Sweden where the tournament will be his first “major” competition on home territory since the release of StarCraft II. We are convinced that Jinro will go “all in” to please the fans at Kulturhuset.
