How to cure post DreamHack depression

The greatest three days of the year have come to an end for a great number of people and it’s easy to feel a bit dull when walking out the door. Missing the good times experienced under the great event that is DreamHack is a  feeling shared by  gamers, crew and visitors alike.

Here are a few tips on how to get over your post DreamHack depression.

First, make sure to follow DreamHack on Twitter and/or Facebook to find out the date for the next event. After that, refresh your memories by looking at the huge amount of photos that we gathered under the festival at Flickr or the films at YouTube.

Re-watch your favorite esport matches at DreamHack TV

Listen to bands like Lillasyster and Kapten Röd who played at the main stage.

See what other people are saying and experiencing in the Twittersphere by following the hashtag #dreamhack and/or #DHS12. You won’t be alone!

Stay in touch with the people you met and connect with new friends on Facebook and Twitter. Talk about the great times that you had and why not start planning for the next event?

Not satisfied?

It gets better. Ever felt like getting involved with DreamHack? Why not apply to DreamHack crew to work at the next event. DreamHack always needs new crew members! You can cook, clean, take photos, help build DreamHack or even give other crew members a massage. Check out the crew page here.

Still feeling down?

Then don’t forget that the Swedish summer only just started. The most wonderful time of the year for anyone living in Sweden. There is fun times ahead with holidays, sunshine, barbecues and of course gaming before having to return to work and school.

Lastly, don’t forget the inspiration and the ideas you got at DreamHack. Use it to continue working towards your personal goals whatever they may be.

Good luck and we’ll see you next time!
