StarCraft II’s next expansion, Heart of the Swarm, will be playable at the Nordic Nationals on July 28. This is only the second time in Europe – and the first time in the Nordic countries – it’s available for the public to play!
Blizzard and DreamHack are hosting the StarCraft II World Championship Series Nordic Nationals on July 28 at Annexet, Stockholm in Sweden. For the very first time, a Swedish, Finnish, Danish or Norwegian player will be crowned StarCraft II’s Nordic champion. The best competitors from each country will be fighting for $30,000 in cash prizes and slots at the Europe Finals.
Free gaming area with Heart of the Swarm
At our free gaming area, where 30 computers from ASUS ROG await, YOU have the exciting opportunity to test and play the next StarCraft II expansion: Heart of the Swarm. DreamHack together with Blizzard will offer the attending event visitors a limited time in the area to try out the game. Since it’s still an early version, only a few game modes will be available.
DreamHack and Blizzard staff will be on-site in order to guide you in your first Heart of the Swarm experience.
The main focus of the event will of course be the Nordic Nationals but we’ll also offer a range of other activities at the event including a merchandise store and an on-site bar where you can have a beer while enjoying StarCraft II matches.
