Viagame partners with DreamHack for Hearthstone!

Today we are proud to announce that MTGx extends their partnership with DreamHack and the $25,000 Hearthstone tournament at DreamHack Summer will be powered by Viagame. The championship will be broadcast on Viagame. We welcome ChanmanV, Artosis, ThatsAdmirable and SeltzerPlease who will be covering the event live from DreamHack Summer!

Announced on June 10th, Viagame is a new streaming website for esports fans around the globe:

The DreamHack Viagame Hearthstone Championship will run from June 14-16th, and will feature three days of broadcasting, covering the group stage and playoffs. Today we are pleased to announce the broadcast talent for the tournament which will include some of the most exciting names in the Hearthstone community who will be providing commentary live from DreamHack Summer and interviewing all the players to give viewers an experience from home as if they were at the venue!

The talent team for the DreamHack Viagame Hearthstone Championship will include Rachel “SeltzerPlease” Quirico, Dan “Artosis” Stemkoski, Chris “ChanmanV” Chan and Nathan “ThatsAdmirable” Zamora, as well as many competitor guests along the way.

ChanmanV is a name the Hearthstone community is very familiar with, best known for hosting the Hearthstone podcast Value Town and commentary on events such as Deck Wars, ChanmanV will be acting as the host of the 3-person panel we will feature at DreamHack Summer, helping to guide the discussion between games as well as interview winners.

Rachel “SeltzerPlease” Quirico will be checking in with the panel from time to time to provide updates about the massive BYOC competition going on, following the unseeded fan favourites and reporting on the upsets and results. Also she will be working with Viagame doing interviews with pro players, behind the scenes coverage at the venue experience to fans tuning in from around the world. So make sure follow Viagame for bonus coverage!

Acting as the primary commentators at the event will be Dan “Artosis” Stemkoski and Nathan “ThatsAdmirable” Zamora. Artosis best known for his commentary in the Starcraft II community has also established himself as one of the most involved and entertaining Hearthstone personalities, the winner of the BlizzCon 2013, as well as being a regular competitor and caster on ESGN Fight Night and even hosting his own podcast, Turn 2. Artosis is everywhere when it comes to Hearthstone and we are excited to have him bringing his years of broadcast experience and Hearthstone expertise to DreamHack Summer. While not the veteran to esports broadcasting that Artosis is, ThatsAdmirable is a name that now every hardcore Hearthstone fan knows, he is a top player and streamer himself, and has become very established as one of the best commentators there is, lending his voice to events such as Deck Wars, Tavern Takeover and more.

Be sure to see previous announcements about the tournament including the format and seeded player list. We have one update regarding the competitors, unfortunately Lifecoach will be unable to attend DreamHack Summer as his second child was just born, and he would like to spend these weeks with his family, something we completely understand. Reynad will be stepping up to take his place as the 12th seeded player, and we are excited to have him participating.

The DreamHack Viagame Hearthstone Championship kicks off on June 14th at 17:30 CEST. Stay tuned to @Viagame and @DreamHack for more info next week about the tournament and what Viagame has planned for the future!
