ASUS ROG DreamLeague

ASUS ROG DreamLeague Season 1hits the LAN Finals with over $250,000 in the prize pool thanks to support from the community and our great partners ASUS ROG and ROCCAT. After 9 weeks of League Play and 84 matches, the six best teams will attend DreamHack Summer 2014 to fight for the title ASUS ROG DreamLeague Champion and set once and for all who is the team in the western world.

ASUS ROG DreamLeague, the most prestigious Dota 2 League in the western world has finally reached the playoffs which takes place at DreamHack Summer 2014, the World’s Largest Digital Festival. The four best teams from three divisions North America, Europe West and Europe East have fought through a 9 weeks long League Play consisting of 84 matches broadcasted from Monster Energy DreamHack Studios. During the League Play we have been treated some of the best Dota 2 play in the World and with some upsets and strong showing from teams and players.

The League Winners Cloud 9 and second place finisher Team Empire were the two dominating the League with a fantastic result of 12-2, where the Americans came out on top after a great victory against the Russians. The Team of the League has to be Team Dog now known as Mousesports. Formed to play in the Qualifiers and make into the league few knew what to expect. Led by Pajkatt and Misery they also went through several roster changes but constantly performed well and made it to the playoffs were they are set to have their best performance to this date. ASUS ROG DreamLeague Season has had a vicious competition where it all came down to the final last game. The reigning champions Natus Vincere had to win their last game versus Evil Geniuses but after a very bad start and technical problems they were not able to secure a spot for the playoffs, choking to the community.

On site at DreamHack Summer 2014 there will be three simultaneous broadcasts of ASUS ROG DreamLeague Season 1 in English, Swedish and Russian. They all are familiar faces and most of them have been part of the whole season’s League Play.
