DreamHack is the world's largest LAN-party and computer festival! Last winter we checked in 12.782 people!!
DreamHack is focused on everything you can do with computers: a lot of gaming and communication. Programming, designing, music composing and whatever you can imagine! We organize a lot of large game tournaments.

But what is a lan party?

A "lan party" is what people do when they meet, hang arund and connect their computers in a data network, to play games, code or whetever with the focus on the computers. Today modern console video games may be connected to data networks too.

Yeah, but why is it called a lan party? LAN is short for Local Area Network. Today most lan partys are also connected to internet, and all attenders get access to the web, e-mail and everything else online, through the local network.

How can I participate?

To attend DreamHack, rent a table seat! Next, choose your seat in our seat reservation web system.

When it's time for the actual event, you pack down your computer and all accessories that you need, and go to Elmia in the city of Jönköping. Upon arrival, go find your seat and set up your computer gear. Connect your computer to our network and you have instant Internet access.
Have a great time at the event. Try out our cool activities, visit DreamExpo and meet old and new friends etc.

Food is available for sale in the food court. Sleep in the sleeping area.
