DreamHack Awards 2009

Today we are proud to present DreamHack Awards, a new concept which is our award ceremony and gala to sum up the DreamHack year. DreamHack Awards will be annual event and the premiere will take place 17th of december 2009 at Berns Salonger in Stockholm.

DreamHack will invite dreamhackers, co-workers, the gaming industry, eSport stars, journalists and our partners, e.g. Telia, Intel, Cisco, Norton and Scandic to DreamHack Awards 2009. DreamHack Awards will encourage and reward the biggest and most outstanding achievements in the digital culture.

A large portion of the different awards will be given out in eSports, as Sweden miss a award ceremony to hail the amazing performances from the Swedish gamers in games like Counter-strike, FIFA and Guitar Hero.

DreamHack Awards will also include categories for casual gaming, creativity, Internet, music and film. In November DreamHack will present a number of categories as Game of the Year, eSports Game of the Year, eSports player of the year, eSports team of the year, eSports related movie, Frag movie of the year, Youtube-movie of the year and much more.

Open vote at DreamHack Winter 2009
The nominees will be presented by DreamHack with the help of surveys to 50 000 dreamhackers. 15 000 attendees at DreamHack Winter can vote on the nominees during the event.

Winners is presented at DreaMhack AWards 2009 the 17th of November at Berns Salonger, Stockholm. It will be a exciting evening with partner dinner, gala and entertainment with music and DJ:
