Sennheiser Head Sponsor of CS 1.6

DreamHack is proud to present Sennheiser as the Head Sponsor of our Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament. Tournament will boost a total of 200 000 SEK in prize purse and have top teams from around the world. The competition will be more fierce then ever and make sure you dont miss out on the action live at DreamArena Extreme, in front of the livestream or HLTV.

In just a few weeks we're opening the gates to world's largest digital festival DreamHack Winter where thousands of gamers will gather to play games, meet new friends and have the experience of their lives.

One essential part of the DreamHack-experience is the eSports tournaments where we will have some of the world's greatest eSports tournaments in games like Counter-strike 1.6, World of Warcraft, StarCraft: BroodWar, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and many more.

Now it's time to announce Sennheiser as the official Head Sponsor of the most prestigous eSports tournament in Counter-strike 1.6. The CS-tournament at DreamHack Winter 2009 will be one of the most exciting tournaments ever with 14 CS-qualifiers around the world and some of the world's greatest teams already invited.

Thanks to support from Sennheiser DreamHack will boost a huge prize purse to a value of 200 000 SEK. We're now happy to announce the full distribution of the prize money and also the official gaming headset of the tournament, Sennheiser PC350, which is given to two of the teams in top-4.

1st place: 100 000 SEK
2nd place: 50 000 SEK
3rd place: 25 000 SEK + 5 x Sennheiser PC350
4th place: 10 000 SEK + 5 x Sennheiser PC350
