Baltic qualifiers!![]() The new digital age in the Baltic states has arrived as we welcome you to digifest DreamHack Winter 2009 Baltic qualifiers! Win and play against the best teams in the world at DreamHack's main event in Jönköping, Sweden on November 26-29th! We are glad to let everyone in the Baltic states and further know we have put up an open qualifier in Estonia for three countries, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, which means no matter where you're from, you are expected and have a chance at playing with the best at DreamHack's finals. Along with our sponsors and partners Elion, Red Bull, Roccat, Razer, Photopoint, Progames, Ordi and many others, we present you the first qualifier in Baltic States for DreamHack. The event takes place inside the A. Le Coq football stadium in Tallinn, Estonia on the last weekend of October: 30-1st November. The event is a lan party under the newly found organization called digifest, within the event we are hosting the DreamHack qualifiers. The event lasts for 3 days and is meant to be played in BYOC(Bring your own computer) mode. We have seats for 450 players and competitors. We are having an open qualifier for all the participants and the 3 wildcards to DreamHack Winter playoffs are there to grab, meaning that nothing less than 3 Counter Strike 1.6 teams and 3 TMNF players can win the trip and a wildcard to DreamHack playoff final. There will be 3 wildcards available to DreamHack Winter playoff finals, one per each country Estonia, Latvia and Lithunia, which can be won by any team from any country. There will be also a hardware prizes. Besides the official games, digifest will host several unofficial tournaments such as : CS:S, Quake Live, Dota 5v5, ET 6v6, CoD4 and Left 4 Dead with prizes from our sponsors. It's the national football stadium for Estonia and all the best matches are held there not to mention concerts, such as Aerosmith and more. We will provide every participant with cable connections and we also have a public wireless connection for the visitors. The gamers are expected with their own computers to participate the LAN and play the BYOC competition. We are also glad to announce that we have planned a special catering for this event, that will offer gamers their favourite food like pizzas, hamburgers and so on, but with a difference of them being fresh. Also a variety of other type of food will be offered at the event and with customer friendly prices. To keep us all awake, RedBull energy drinks will be available for a good price. Counter-Strike 1.6 will be played in two stages, first the group stage with a bo1 format and secondly the playoff stage, where the format will be single elimination bo3. In Trackmania Nations Forever, the seeding will be in Time Attack with 12 players in 1 server for 10 minutes, the map will be drawn randomly from one of the DHW official map pack which will be published on October 15th. The participants and visitors also have a chance to watch a football match for free between FC Flora and Sillamäe Kalev in the Estonian Super League on Saturday, at 17:00. This is our first time to operate under a new, digifest, name, but we have years of experience in running the World Cyber Games Estonian and Baltic qualifiers and not to mention all the other local tournaments and lans.
